Why not post it here and see if your peers can help? I'll be popping in, too, for advice and guidance.
Feel free to ask anything research related in the comments section. This will be a good opportunity for us to share our thoughts/ideas/concerns/complaints about that smelly old professor, etc...
You can also discuss your ideas for primary/secondary research, audience, potential purposes/forms. The possibilities are endless!
Extra points available IF you're particularly helpful to someone else.

Prof Hoerth,
ReplyDeleteThis is what I have so far....what do you think?
Do UTPA freshman who procrastinate have better peer review skills than those who do not?
Provide UTPA freshman with a definintion of peer review and ask them to then read over a paper of a peer, and provide an area of feedback.
A. Primary Research- take a poll of students who both admit to procrastination intentionally and those who do not, and ask each to participate in the peer review assignment.
B. Secondary Research- Neubert; Downs & Wardle.

I like this idea, Victoria! My only recommendation would be to see if maybe you can find any other articles that discuss the effects of procrastination on students' writing. I think there are a lot of "misconceptions" about procrastination. Also, you'll want to define it. For some, procrastination might mean waiting a week or so to start a long project, whereas for others, it might mean waiting until the morning of, you know? So you'll want to specify, and I think with a little research, it'll become easier. I look forward to your project! K.
